I found this WordPress plugin and thought it might interest Bloggers using WordPress. The plugin allows you to upgrade WordPress to the new version in just one click, I haven’t tried it yet but probably will soon since the WordPress V 2.3 was just released.

I am seeing the new Mercedes C Class a lot lately on the Lebanese roads, The front of the car is very nice but the rear is ugly! The back lights look weird, the rear of the old model was much better!
Wi2am Wahab Humiliated on Manar TV

A friend told me that the last time Wahab was on Manar TV he got 2 surprises. Here’s what apparently happened:
A woman first called and started telling him how good he was and that they liked him so much. After she finished telling him all the crap allowed on Manar she asked him if he knew Walid Joumblat, his answer was of course “yes” so she told him: “Eh Bedo yfarfeklak mnekhirak ba3ed chi nhar” (sorry this really can’t be translated).
After a while another man called, he used the same startegy but at the end here’s what he said:
Caller: I really Like to go hunting.
Presenter: Please get to your point.
Caller: But I stopped going hunting some times ago, guess why?
Presenter: Why?
Caller: My dog died so would you please give me the one next to you?
At this point Wahab left the studio and the show was ended!
I searched google and YouTube for a video of this but found nothing. And since I am not really a regular Manar viewer I can’t personally confirm it happened so if you have a video or watched this please tell us if it’s true!
EDIT: Jad commented and said he watched the show and this never happened, I am going to ask the person who told me the story if he watched the show or if someone told him that it happened and I’ll keep you updated. but for now this is just a false rumor, sorry!
EDIT 2: My Friend confiremed this was true! Believe whoever you want! I can’t confirm it!
A really stupid thief

This story is now on Digg. This guy stole someone laptop and wanted to use it to upload pictures to his flickr account, the only thing he forgot to do is logout from the owner’s account! so he ended up uploading his pictures (face and tattoos) to the owner’s account!!!

St Dimitri and Bachir Gemayel

I was telling my friend a few days ago about the problem in Achrafieh that started after the Government decided to finally name an avenue after Bachir Gemayel, When we finished talking about the issue he told me a Joke about St Dimitri and Bachir Gemayel:
After dying Bachir went to heaven, while he was walking there he met St Maroun so he approached him, greeted him and asked him how he was doing. But St Maroun just ignored Bachir and kept walking! Bachir was surprised but continued, he met Jesus Christ so he greeted him and asked him why St Maroun didn’t reply but Jesus didn’t reply too!! Bachir was really surprised wondering why no one is answering him but a few moments later he heard a voice calling him he turned around and saw a man running towards him, the man hugged him, kissed him and asked Bachir if he had recognized him, Bachir didn’t. The person explained that he was St Dimitri and that he was from Achrafieh, he told Bachir how much he loved him and started talking to him. After some time Bachir asked St Dimitri why St Maroun and Jesus ignored him so St Dimitri replied: “The first is Syrian and the second is Palestinian, how do you expect them to talk to you!?”
A “missed call” during the civil war.

Usually when you go to pick someone up from his house you “missed call” him to come down, During the civil war the mobile phone wasn’t available yet so people used another method, check it out.
Windows XP and Icons

At Home I have 2 Desktop PCs and a Laptop. One of those PCs has an external Hard Disk connected to it, and this Hard Disk is shared on the network. Yesterday the HDD was turned off but my brother needed some files on it.
I was playing CS on the PC that hosts the HDD but decided to switch the HDD on without leaving the game, everything worked, the game hanged a little for a couple of seconds but then got back to normal and my brother acceded the Hard Disk.
After finishing the game I went back to windows and was surprised by what I saw, apparently when Windows XP is busy doing something it doesn’t look for the Icons it needs, it just uses the “closest” Icon!
The CS Icon is the icon of the game I was playing, the other icons are just the most used programs in the start menu so XP took them and assigned them to new programs!
A new police tool: Luck

Naharnet is reporting today that police caught an Israeli with a German Passport by “simple luck”, I hope luck helps them find who did all the assassinations and bombing too…
…or they could try better investigations, I guess they work too.
A Martyr’s Funeral

We watched so many funerals since 2005, they all look the same, A coffin with a flag over it carried by men taking the martyr to his final destination. Women throw rice on the convoy, patriotic music is played and if the martyr is young people try to make the funeral look like a wedding.
At every funeral we also feel the same thing, we are angered by the death and we promise the martyr to continue his path and rebuild the country yet we still haven’t build anything.
I am tired of all this! We all want to live in peace! More then 1500 person died in Lebanon since 2005! We lived 2 years of death and destruction it’s time we build a country!!
RIP Charles Chikhani

I don’t know anymore how many explosions happened in Lebanon, I lost count! but I do know that with every explosion many people loose their lives or if they are lucky only get wounded or loose a property.
One of the people who died in the Antoine Ghanem assassination is Charles Chikhani, I do not know him and just heard about him on LBCI. He is a young man who studied outside Lebanon but decided to return and work here so he became a Director in GlobalCom (a Lebanese communication company) before someone decided to remind every Lebanese that we cannot live in peace and killed him and 5 other people.
